Shawn came to APC in 2018 as Lead Pastor. He is licensed with PAOC (Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada) and has a degree in Biblical Studies. He brings a wealth of experience and passion to the APC family.

Shawn’s vision for APC is to see people step into the fullness God intended for them. Only the saving work of Jesus' death and resurrection will transform our lives. We believe that Church is about imperfect people coming together, learning through Jesus to be better together. The vision is simple: Love God, Love people, and Make disciples.

Shawn is married to his wife, Michelle. Shawn is not just our Lead Pastor but also a family man. Together, they have three children. He enjoys spending quality time focusing on family and friends.

Jesse joined the pastoral staff in September 2024 as Youth Pastor. With a BA in Youth Ministry and seven years of experience, he brings passion and vision for the youth of APC. 

Jesse's vision is to see a generation of cultural influencers passionate about Jesus and His mission. He believes the best is yet to come for God's church. And it begins with all generations of the church uniting together.

He and his wife Kelsey have 3 beautiful children. Jesse is a stay-at-home dad who focuses on family. Whether it's a beach day and hikes or movies and video games, Jesse's family time is quality time when he's not at church. 

Michelle has been Children’s Pastor at APC since 2018. She is an EA with School District 22 in Vernon. With credentials in children’s ministry and many years of experience working with children, she created our vibrant Kidz Zone ministry for children ages 3-12. 

Michelle’s passion for children is evident in her dedication to providing cutting-edge programs each week. Her vision is to fill the room with children eager to learn more about Jesus. Today, more than ever, it’s vital for children to know that Jesus is real and that He loves them just the way they are. 

Michelle and Shawn have three children. She has always enjoyed being around children. One of her favorite activities is planning family day trips exploring the greater Vernon area.

Wendy joined the team at Alexis Park Church as the office administrator. Bringing her organizational skills to the position, she keeps the office running smoothly.

Wendy exemplifies kindness and compassion by making everyone feel welcome and a part of the APC family. There’s always a candy dish ready for visitors and friends to dip into and enjoy. 

Wendy and her husband, Brian, are passionate about serving wherever God takes them. They can usually be found helping someone or taking a rare break to enjoy retirement. Wendy enjoys writing devotionals to share with friends and family.

Mark joined APC as the bookkeeper/financial advisor and is also a member of the board. He brings nine years of financial experience as a mortgage broker and investor to the APC family.

Mark knows the value of church financial accountability. His passion for numbers and financial ethics allow APC to reach Vernon and abroad. 

Mark and his wife Kristina have three children. Family is important to them. And spending time with their extended families and friends is a regular occurrence. Whether a game of volleyball, golf, or house renos, the family will surely be involved.
