They focus on bringing help and hope to every marriage and family with seminars, workshops, podcasts, and online resources. New Manna Ministries: Fred and Val Ilyin. Their ministry touches the lives of orphans, needy children, children at risk, and widows through compassion, education, and care. Young men and women are trained to live a Godly life, be mature in God, and fulfill their calling in life, family and church in Ukraine, Russia, and Tanzania, Africa. Monthly support- $200.
Millenium RDS: Ian Green. Millennium Relief & Development Services, large network of committed and innovative problem-solvers works in over 39 countries and territories through community development and humanitarian aid. They work alongside local community leaders in situations of great need and complexity. Monthly support-$200.
North Okanagan Gleaners: A local ministry providing food and medical aid worldwide to needy countries. Their Lavington processing plant produces dried soup mixes that are sent around the world. They collect good used medical equipment at their Vernon furniture location to be distributed to other countries. Their furniture store also provides local aid to those in need. Every $100 earned from furniture donations will provide 5000 meals. Monthly support- $100.
Upper Room Mission: A local ministry of Vernon. The Upper Room Mission works to care for and improve the lives of people living in poverty, homelessness, and addiction giving a place of belonging and hope rooted in the love of Jesus Christ. Monthly support-$100. Interact Ministries: Byron and Daniell Sayer, Kamloops Native Fellowship. They lead the youth ministry, preaching and building relationships with young adults. The Sayers use their background in recreation and heart for First Nations youth and children to point them to Christ.
